Not every kid becomes friends with one of his most admired artists.
I met Josh at a Bargain Music show in the basement of Fitzgerald’s in Houston with @jonnythree@instagram.com when I was 15. He and the band would stay at my parents’ place later in high school when they’d play shows in Lake Charles. @etbowling@instagram.com and I just had dinner with him in New Orleans this past January.
Josh was one of the beautiful ones. Rest In peace, brother.
